Supports the assistant technical manager in all tasks assigned to him such as setting up and operating audio and video equipment. Train to become an assistant technical manager.

Set up and operate audio and video equipment including microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards, and related electronic equipment for concerts, sports events, meetings, and conventions, presentations, and news conferences -

Set up and operate associated spotlights and other custom lighting systems. Experience in using soldering irons voltmeters and other related tools -

Perform minor repairs and routine cleaning of audio video and lighting equipment -

Diagnose and resolve media system problems in simple conferencing systems -

Read system diagrams and floorplans and position sets, lighting equipment, and other AVL equipment -

Compress, digitize, duplicate, and store audio and video data -

Maintain inventories of audio and video tapes and related supplies -

Notify supervisors when major equipment repairs are needed -

Monitor incoming and outgoing signal feeds to ensure quality, and notify directors of any possible problems -

Locate and secure settings, properties, effects, and other production necessities -

Technical degree graduate -
Two years experience in AVL or theater technology role -
المهارات
knowledge of technical operations -
Knowledge of safe work practices -
Knowledge of applicable tools and equipment -
